[GDC] Schedule and Session Times
The Great Decisions Course runs once a year, typically from mid-January through mid-February. Five weeks.
Key Dates
- Enrollment opens. Late December / early January.
- Course begins. Mid-January.
- Course ends. Mid-February.
Weekly schedule
- Live sessions with Joe. 90 minutes, Fridays from 9:00–10:30 am PT.
- Connection Group sessions. 90 minutes, offered at a variety of times on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Pick the time that works for your schedule. You'll stay at that time, with the same group of 7, for the duration of the course. Calendar invites go to the email you registered with the week we kick off.
- Partnered exercises. 60 minutes, done on Monday or Tuesday at a time you and your partner choose. Your partner will be someone from your Connection Group.
- Solo work. Each week includes solo experiments, a podcast to listen to, and daily exercises. You'll also have some prep before your Partner and Connection Group sessions.
Plan on 8–12 hours a week between materials, live meetings, solo work, and community. More if you want it.
You'll receive calendar invites with Zoom links for your Connection Group the week of our kick-off call. Friday live sessions with Joe can be added to your calendar from the course events calendar in Circle. Sessions are live, so reserve the weekly time block before the cohort begins.
For the upcoming cohort. Exact dates are published on our course page once confirmed. You can also join the Early Access List to be notified as soon as enrollment opens.
A note on planning ahead. GDC runs once a year, so missing the enrollment window means waiting a full year for the next cohort. If you need employer approval, reimbursement, or extra planning time, the Early Access List is the best way to get early notice.
